Before trying to isolate corrupt user notes or files, you will always want to back up everything that you will be working on before beginning, so that if something goes wrong you haven’t lost anything else. Make sure that you have backed up the computer version of your Accordance Files folder (located in Documents or in My Documents).
Go into Accordance Preferences (Settings on macOS Ventura or later) > Syncing and under the Items to Sync section, uncheck all of the categories except one, such as User Notes. Then try your manual sync again. If it syncs ok, then you know that your User Notes are fine and it must be another category. Check each category until you find the one that crashes. Then you will know to check each file in that category until you isolate the bad file. When you find it, you will need to find a previous version of that file from a backup that is not corrupt and replace the bad file.
