All of the texts I have except KJV, KJVS, and ASV display paragraph marks which I find distracting. Is there any way to turn off this ‘feature’?

If you display the text in “Paragraphs” rather than Separate Verses, you will hide the paragraph markers. Use Set Text Pane Display in the Display menu, or use the right-click contextual menu.
