I just changed some of the preferences in Accordance, but they aren’t affecting the text display.

Setting the Preferences affects all NEW windows and panes, not those that are currently open (unless you request it in the subsequent dialog), nor any saved windows, sessions, etc. To see the changes, flip the text currently showing and then flip back to it, then save the window or session again if needed. To change the display of the current pane, tab, or window, use Set Text Display in the Display menu.

This behavior is deliberate: you can reset preferences without messing up all the panes in your previously saved windows.
