I believe if you go to Preferences>Tool Display>Hypertext>Text. Change the text option to your choice of English bible.Hopefully, this resolves your issue.

Accordance Bible , yes it still crashes after doing tge following: Reinstall, Accordance Safe Mode>Clean up>Clear Library Cache & Clear cashed downloads.
