Everett Fox: Early Prophets

This is a module request for The Schocken Bible, Volume II, which contains Everett Fox's English translation of Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings. Accordance already offers Fox's translation of the Torah. Most English translations smooth out the text for modern readers, sometimes eliminating repeated key words, translating biblical names into Anglicized versions, etc. Fox's translation represents what one might hear from a rabbi translating word by word on the fly. These volumes are enormously helpful in paying attention to structural and stylistic features that might otherwise be missed when reading ESV, NIV, etc.
