Stuck in Update Mode
I bought Accordance in 2024, and the last several times I have opened up the App, it checks for content updates. And it gets stuck. I can go into the program and look up the reference I need, but when I'm done, it's still checking for those content updates and I can't exit the program without getting into the Task Manager and forcing it to shut down. I tried updating the app, but it wouldn't update because it was still checking for those content updates. I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but if there is a better solution, please let me know.

Have you tried opening Accordance in Safe mode and checking those options that clear caches and maybe disable automatic updates. google “open accordance safe mode” to find info on how to do this. (If I provide a link, here my post will be stuck in “pending” limbo for who knows how long.)

Shoot. I was hoping that would do it for you. It often does. Are you on Windows or Mac? If Mac, is it running Golden Gate as its operating system? There have been reports of issues with Accordance on Golden Gate.

I'm on Windows. At this point I might just have to uninstall and reinstall it.
