The web app is more of a necessity for Accordance survival than ever.

Good morning, all. Let me begin by saying that I love Accordance. I have figured out a workflow that works for me, I love the instant details, and I have sunk some money into resources for Accordance that I'm not eager to spend on again.  I am a newly ordained elder/pastor, and am needing the power of Bible software to do sermons, homilies, etc. However…

I need a web app. I am tired of Microsoft's bloatware, their jamming of AI into every conceivable nook and cranny of the OS, and their intrusive surveillance of everything everyone does on Windows, even tying it to a persistent device ID which can then be furnished to police or federal investigators. (One reputable source: https://www.theregister.com/cyber-crime/2026/07/07/windows-is-watching-anti-piracy-tool-fingers-scattered-spider-suspect/5267953) And honestly, how long until the various governments decide that faithful sects of Christianity are an enemy to the collectivism pushing the State as god? How long until this Device ID tracking is weaponized against those of us who render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, but reserve God's purview to Him alone?

I have permanently switched to Linux.  The move is easier than ever with options like Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Zorin OS, etc, there are more than enough options for most Windows software, and the only reason I need to run a buggy, bloated VM with Windows is Accordance. I get that porting your software to Linux is not feasible. I think it becomes more and more feasible by the day, but Linux is still a SMALL market share of OSes. But that's what has to make a web app more of a priority to your small team of developers.

Last night it came to a head when I went to look for the Lectio Continua Commentary Series, and found it only on Logos. I could have dealt with that, but that's when I discovered that Logos has a really, REALLY nice web app, with whatever resources I purchased for it available up there.

I spent some time thinking about purchasing the bare minimum of what I needed on Logos, and eventually ended up at this community site seeing that you guys are close to the first release (per a comment from someone official a month or so ago) of your web app.

Can you guys provide any sort of estimate, here? Est. Q3? Possibly Q4? Are you looking for anyone to beta test it? My day job is the supervisor of an IT service desk, and I do have a background as a Programmer/Analyst. I know that it's been internally tested for quite some time, and that it probably needed the sync revamp before it could be pushed forward, but is there ANYTHING you can offer us to help us make the decision to stick with Accordance? A major reason I've continued with Accordance since v14 is the promise of a web app. Initially it was because of a Chromebook, and now it's because I'm sticking with Linux.
