How do you find the word count in a section of the biblical text, such as the word count  in Colossians 1:3-9 in UBS5?

  *  <AND> [RANGE Colossians 1:3-9]  - should work

  This returns the word count as shown below

  

  As with other areas - you will need to be careful in sections with textual variation - for example if you look at the word count from Mark 16 in UBS 5 it will return the word count from all three endings.

   

  

   

   - this is usually a minor issue - but just bear it in mind.

  This particular searched seemed to be straight forward, but I was struggling how to do it. I did figure it out after I posted my message. I had the order of the elements in the search reversed, but it sill worked:  [RANGE Col. 1:3-8] <AND> *

  Thanks for the heads-up about sections of the GNT where there are textual variants!
