Accordance web browser interferring with Windows11 keyboard

Using Accordance 14.1.2, when I click on a link and it opens the Accordance web browser…

the keyboard (Windows11) becomes excruciating sluggish. Even typing at a slow speed, it cannot keep up and will drop characters if too fast.  It even ignores uppercase if too many characters are queued up.

The keyboard functionality is restored when closing the browser.
