One foot in the Grave
It has been quite some time since I last visited the Accordance Support forum. It looks very much different than before, when there were all kinds of Accordance users buzzing about the latest features or asking questions to work out any persistent bugs (which were few and far between; Accordance was just that good). But, today, June 3, 2026 it almost looks like a ghost town. Even Nathan Parker is gone.
So, I only have one question, and it is simply this: Is Accordance on its death bed? I would hope not, as over the years it has been my main go-to Bible software after migrating over from Bible Works. A couple of years ago Accordance came out with Version 14 and it was a dog from the start, which was totally atypical. All the previous upgrades were definitely something to look forward to because of their innovation and reliability. Such was not the case with 14. So, I reverted back to Version 13 and have been stuck there ever since, which is fine, since it still works.
Lately, though, I considered upgrading again, but, because of what I am seeing here and elsewhere, that nagging question keeps coming back to me. Because if Accordance is on the verge of dying, or at best left in a state of stale limbo, where nothing substantive gets done to improve the program, then why waste the time and money to upgrade, only to await the final funeral of futility?
Anyway, here's hoping for an honest and candid reply. That is, if anyone is still around to answer the question. And if that be the case, I will have my answer anyway.
Thanks.

No, Accordance is not “on the verge of dying.”
We have continued to release updates to Accordance 14, as well as new texts, commentaries, and other resources. We are nearing the initial release of our browser based version of our software, and continue to make new licensing agreements and school contracts.
