Line spacing on ipad

The line spacing on my iPad is not working, I cannot make adjustments. It shows the slider, which moves, but nothing happens.

  I found if you change your display settings to paragraph the  if y spacing works correctly; but not on single ou change your display settings to paragraph the line, spacing works correctly; but not on single verses. This needs to be fixed.
