Abbey Psalms and Canticles translation (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops)
Please add The Abbey Psalms and Canticles translation, which the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has adopted for liturgical use.
Prepared by the Benedictine monks of Conception Abbey in Missouri, this edition presents these moving passages of the Bible in an accurate and poetic translation, while keeping a smooth cadence especially suited to singing and recitation.
It establishes the definitive form of psalms and canticles that will gradually appear in official Catholic liturgical books such as future editions of the Liturgy of the Hours and the Lectionary for Mass.

Instead of just the Abbey Psalms and Canticles, why not the whole Catholic American Bible, which includes them as well as the translation of the rest of Scripture that will be used for Roman Rite liturgical texts in the future? This is a rebranded revision of the New American Bible (the 2010 Old Testament and a revised 2024 edition of the New Testament) with the Abbey Psalms as the Psalter and the Abbey Canticles in an appendix, since there's also a NAB-derived translation of the canticles in the main text. See the USCCB page on the Liturgy of the Hours, Second Edition. Ascension Press is due to publish it February 10, 2027 (Ash Wednesday) together with the Lent-Easter volume of the second edition of the LOTH (Catholic Bible Talk).
