why are random letters not copying and pasting in copy as citation?
“When you enter te land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations.”
Deuteronomy 18:9 NAS95
LOOK at THE is "TE"
I am very frustrated with the simple task of setting formatting for my copy and paste tasks in Accordance. Now this bug, in addition to the general difficulty of setting acceptable export formats for copied verses is driving me crazy :)

I just noticed that this only happens in the NASB95 and the NASB2020. It does not drop letters in the NKJV, ESV and a few others I tested.

Craig: What Operating system and what Accordance version are you using? I don't have the NASB2020 apparently, but I do have the NASB1995 and I can't reproduce this.
Also, can you post a screenshot of your Citation settings? (Accordance>Settings>Citation, at least on Macs)
I have had recurring issues with text at the beginning of a verse not being retained on copy, that appears to be related to the type of space used in the text, as well as whether or not I included the first verse reference in my selection, and I'm wondering if there is a connection between our two issues.

My OS is Tahoe 26.3.1 (a) (25D771280a)

Yes, I was wondering if some of it was because some of my selections do not include the whole of the first verse.
Here is a sample of my pasting. I have tried changing some of the above settings, but it does not seem to fix the problem.

This is citation copying all of 3:1. The “re” is gone from “there.”
“¶ Now the was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;”
John 3:1
==============
This is citation copying part of 3:1 (“of the Pharisees, named aNicodemus, a bruler of the Jews;”) I’m not sure what all it cut out here.
“¶ Now thearisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;”
John 3:1

If I do a CTL+C copy, I do not lose any of the text. These are the exact words I copied.
of the Pharisees, named aNicodemus, a bruler of the Jews;
==============
This is copying (in citation mode) two verses. I don’t see anything missing.
Ҧ Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; John 3:1
this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.””
John 3:1-2
