Paper and ...

On iMac you can have a paper open and next to it anything else you want, you can be writing your paper and having all resources available to read, research, or copy/paste. I have tried to do the same on the iPad, the only combination of resources you can use is Text and the split window for another Text, Tools or Notes. I am looking for the option to included paper to the split window. The idea behind is to have a paper open for a sermon or a teaching, and if any idea or question comes up you be able to search a text without to having to leave/close the paper. As of now you can't combine a paper with nothing else, if you need any additional resource you need to close the paper, got to the resource, open the resource, then close the resource (or text) in order to be able to go back to the paper, scroll to find where were you before, very inconvenient to add ideas on the fly or answer question that you may need resources (perhaps a text) while going over what you have on the paper. My intention is not to edit the paper itself, but be able to use additional resources while using paper. One option I tried is to have the paper exported to PDF or Pages, split the screed on the iPad and have on one side of the screen accordance and in the other side the PDF/Page, one of the inconvenience here is: let said you have and specific verse on the paper, if you want to go a verse before or after you can't unless there a link reference on the PDF/Pages, I know if you are using paper by itself, you are able to open the verse, and then show in context, from there you can go any where, and then using the (top left) arrow find your way back to the paper, I found this way is too difficult to achieve this, with the side by side you left your paper there and go over additional resources on a more convenient and faster way.
