⌘⌥C not working on Mac (copy without Superscript)

Mac user.  I prefer to use the “copy without superscript” option.. a habit of 17 years.  I like the reference at the front.

I am an avid Evernote user too (which utilizes shortcuts as well).  I think Evernote has somehow replaced my computers sans superscript shortcut (with their new AI options).  I think it have disabled Evernotes new shortcut…. but now the classic shortcut doesnt even copy at all.

help?  This is messing with my 17 year patterns and really dont want to move the mouse and then dropdown to that option every time.  I have tried pasting the contents of this shortcut for sans superscript to pages and Evernote and doesnt work anywhere.
