Almost all the text I paste into my notes is changed to Accordance font.

When I paste a verse which was copied as citation into my user notes, the paste retains the original font. However, if I copy from inside the note then paste, the text is pasted in Accordance font. Or, if I paste something from another app, the paste is changed to Accordance font. 

This is not the behavior I want. I want my pastes to retain their original font characteristics.

I have looked for a setting that might be affecting this, but haven't been able to find one. 

I'm using Accordance 14.1.2 on Mac OS 26.2.
