Settings Will not take effect
Hello, hopefully someone can help me. I will change my preferences in the main settings such as theme, hit color, default session, etc. The settings are fine as long as Accordance is open. As soon as I shut down Accordance and restart, they are back to where I had previously had them, as if the settings never took place. This happens on both my main laptop and my backup laptop. I'm not sure what the issue is.
I run Accordance 14.1.1 on a Mac M1 chip running Tahoe 26.1. However, this was an issue even before upgrading on Accordance and Mac.
Thanks for any help.

Many settings impact new workspaces created but do not make changes to a saved workspace. In my case, I have a very specific “startup” workspace I have used for quite a few years, so even though I may make general changes in preferences, that “startup” workspace is not changed. On the other hand, if I generate a new workspace, the new preferences will be present. So, if I change my mind, I just replace the old saved workspace with the new one and the new preferences will be locked in the workspace.
Remember, changes to preferences are not retroactive on saved workspaces, but will be implemented in newly created workspaces.

Joseph, yes, and that's what I'm referring to. I change the settings to how I want them (in main preferences NOT the pane settings) and when I quit and restart Accordance, they revert back to & show what they were before I changed them.

Perhaps a video demonstrating what I'm talking about will help. Here is a link of a screen recording I did to show what was going on.

Try rebuilding your complete workspace from scratch to see if your new preferences are applied.
The other option is to try to change the settings via the “Set Text Pane” with Cmd-T (or the gear icon) on a Mac. You will find what you need in the “Advanced” tab on the popup settings window. Make sure you choose “Use as Default” when you are satisfied with the results.
