I have a rather extensive library but recently added the free offer of the Heritage of Faith Collection. However, several items will not install.

First, thank you for the heads up about the Heritage of Faith Collection being available for free!

I “purchased” it and downloaded it.  In my case, Easy Intall is [or appeared to be] hanging/not working for Origen-T and Origen of Alexandria, Selected Works.

Initially I had selected everything for download at once, and it hung trying to download Origen-T (which it said was module 31/31 of the download).  I stopped the process, and selected smaller groupings of the works to download, avoiding Origen-T.  I got to the point where everything except that and Origen of Alexandria installed.

I tried opening in safe mode and clearing download and library cache.  Accordance hung, I forced it to quite, reopened and tried again.  That time I got as far as “Installing” and being able to click the button to install, but they still showed up as needing to download.

I quit Accordance, reopened in safe mode again; once more cleared the library and download caches, and ran easy install.  Nothing showed up. I checked my library and the troublesome modules were there.

Based on my experience, I would suggest you try the following:

-first see if you can download the remaining non-Origen works individually

    -then quit Accordance

-restart Accordance in Safe Mode, clear library and research caches

-Try Easy Install again….if you get as far as the Installing progress bar but they still show up as uninstalled, try the safe mode approach again and then check on them.

Have any of you tried the steps I suggested above? Did they work for you?

These steps, from the end of my post above (which appears be stuck in pending pergatory):

Based on my experience, I would suggest you try the following:

-first see if you can download the remaining non-Origen works individually

    -then quit Accordance

-restart Accordance in Safe Mode, clear library and research caches

I could do it but installing one by one. Not all together.

    So, something is wrong...

We have found that there is an issue with the module ORIGEN-T. We are investigating to see what is causing this problem.

For those of you who “purchased” The Heritage of Faith Collection, I discovered today that it has changed.

The Origen and Hippolytus modules don't show up on the list on the site or in easy install for those who have not yet installed them, but additional modules that weren't there at first are on the list (Namely the Ante Nicene Fathers, Post Nicene Fathers 1&2, and the Christian Apologists.)

As I was checking the list to make this post, I noticed this statement on the page on the website (which I had overlooked earlier today):

Note: Due to issues with the Origen and Hippolytus modules, we have temporarily removed them to allow for easier installation and they will be added back at a later date.
