Understanding Keyed Texts in Accordance
Tagging Philosophies
To understand keyed texts in Accordance, it is good to know there are 3 philosophies.
- Focus on prefix and suffix or direction: E.g. “I go up” the up would be tagged. You can see this in the KJVS and derivates.
- Core meaning: In compound words the core meaning is tagged. In this case the go would be tagged. NIV84-GK, NIV11-G/K, NIV11-G/KE, Mounce NT
- Grammatical correctness: The tagging on verbs is on the action. E.g. ~ “righteousness will be". LEO-NT G/KE, LEO-GKE
Not the best example https://accordancebible.com/link/search/KJVS?up@[KEY_G1453]_[RANGE_Acts_10,26], but it shows the differences.

Search improvements
With this in mind, you can do better searches and interpret better, also understand outcomes of the TEXT Command.

Thanks, Fabian! This explains a lot to me. I'm very annoyed by approach #1, and have always thought it was tagging errors. I didn't realize it was a tagging philosophy!

Hello Lorinda Hoover, I'm with you. It would be great if André-Philippe Therrien, can change the key number on this word to the core meaning words.
