Try starting Accordance in Safe Mode (google “Accordance Safe Mode”…if I include the link my post will be stuck in “pending” purgatory).  Try the options to remove/delete caches…especially the download cache.

BTW, I am running Accordance 14.1.0 on a Dell Precision 5690 laptop, using Windows 11, update 25H2.

I guess I am having the same problem regarding to this situation. Even though I have tried every step of Safe mode, the crash problem remains. And just in case, I have tried Windows 10 and win11, it still crashed.

Thanks for the safe mode suggestion.

I recently installed the upgrade to ver 14.1.1; then I tried the safe mode idea, deleted caches. But it still crashes and disappears under the same conditions (whenever the Updates window comes up).

Sounds like a bug that still needs fixing.

Anyone else having this same problem?

    New update -

So, another new update, ver 14.1.2 came out, so I installed that, and tried the Start - Update Window scenario again, and now it seems to work fine without crashing. So, I guess 14.1.2 addressed whatever was causing the problem.

    Thank you Accordance :)

I am having a similar issue. I've tried clearing the download cache. I've even tried removing and reinstalling the program. The Updates Window appears and keeps on loading instances until I call up Task Manager and End the program. When I start it again. It has a message asking if I want to try to reload the previous workspace. I say “No” and it loads.
The next time I fire up the program, it does it again.
I've had this problem with every version of Windows 11 I've had. I'm currently running
    Window 11 Home Version 10.0.26200 Build 26200
    on an ASUS Zenbook Duo UX8406MA x64-based Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155H, 3800 Mhz,
     16 Cores, 22 Logical Processors
    16GB RAM
    Hypervisor enabled.
