Ugaritic: Search for words with alef and ayin

I have tried to use the Search option for Ugaritic, but apparently it does not work if I search for words including an alef sign or an ayin sign. The words beginning with these signs occur at the end of the lists under "Enter Lexical Forms" and "Enter Inflected Forms". 

The message I receive when I search for such words is:

An unexpected brace character "{" or "}" was encountered. Apparently the signs for alef and ayin are interpreted as { and }.

Is there a solution to this problem?
