Wouldn't an update with enhanced syncing fix the issue of not having had an update for too long?

We can't just add syncing to the current Android app to appease Google. Google is requiring multiple deep-level programming changes to apps they approve, so we will release a new Android app (based on a shared backend technology from Accordance Cloud) to appease Google, and we can include syncing in that app.
