Parallel Pane Instead of New Tab
When clicking on the superscripted letters in a Bible text, I used to have the footnotes appear in a parallel pane. For some reason, now they open up a new tab. I don't want to have to switch between tabs. How do I change the setting so that, by clicking on the footnote letters, a parallel pane opens up that scrolls along with my text? Thanks.

Interesting. I don't remember clicking on those superscripts opening the notes in a parallel pane. In my memory they have always opened in a separate tab. In my usual setup, this doesn't make a big difference, because the tab opens in a separate zone and scrolls. (Although it would be a big difference if I wanted to see another tab in that zone).
Now, when I click on the symbol for User Notes, they do open in a parallel pane, not a separate Zone. This made met think maybe there was a settings/preferences option you could change, but I couldn't find one.
I did discover that if I option-click on a superscript in a text, a little temporary window shows up on the spot with the info from the Notes file. (Kind of like a tiny one-off Instant details window)
