Search User Notes
A couple weeks ago I suggested the ability to search User notes. I was told I could do it. I could not.
I received this comment and the post was closed:
Hi there! You can search your notes.Every note file has a search box at the top if you open it in its own zone, not as a parallel pane with a Bible. You can search notes for a Reference, Article, or Content. I can shoot a screencast on how to do this if need be. "
I emailed back and requested a screen shot because I still could not achieve the task. Please help!

Hi there! I'm the one who worked on your request.
Your latest reply never came through to us. You're welcome to reply back to the last message you received from us, and I can check to see if it will come through this time.
Below I'm attaching a picture of where you can search for User Notes. Each User Note has a top search bar. You can then click a box to search by Reference, Article, or Content. Content is likely the one you need.
I am also willing to produce a screencast demoing this and share it here with you as well.
Also as a general “FYI” for people reading the new community and using the new support center. Our support ticketing system will "auto-close"/mark “Solved” most support tickets after a period of inactivity so we don't have a bunch of open support tickets sitting around in our system. If at anytime this happens to you, simply reply to the last email you received from us. It will re-open the support ticket, and we can continue to pick up where we left off and work from there. This is a normal feature of most support ticketing systems. We are not trying to brush off anyone's support questions.
At another job I work for that uses a similar support ticketing system, the tickets auto-close every time I email the customer (since that company receives hundreds of support requests per day). Each time a customer responds, the ticket is re-opened and we pick up where we left off.

Thanks for the reply.
I do this.
1. I open my notes its own tab.
2. I enter my search term in the box.
3. I change the search to ‘content’.
3. I press search and I get a whirly wheel, then it crashes -every time.
Perhaps my note file is too large?

Accordance needs to allow its customers to export their notes. I have 20+ years of notes. If I can’t recall where something is, I must comb through the file until I find it. I can search for unicode text in ANY text editor, so I’d like to.
Also my note file has been corrupted multiple times. Many have been requesting this feature for years and been promised repeatedly that it is coming.
Why can’t we just write the notes to an RTF file from the app?

We addressed User Note Corruption in 14.0.11, but if you're willing to send me your User Note, our programming team has a tool where we can check it for corruption prior to 14.0.11 and resolve it. I can be reached here: https://support.accordancebible.com/hc/en-us/articles/35882217735579-Sharing-Attachments-with-the-Accordance-Community
Exporting of User Notes is a highly-requested feature, so I hope we'll see it sometime, but we've had a lot on programming's plate getting syncing finished.

I can send you a dropbox link to my note file. How do I do that? The link does not have your email or ways to send you my file directly. I have never been able to search my User Notes so if I can get this resolved it would be a huge help.

I posted the wrong link. Sorry about that! Email here: https://support.accordancebible.com/hc/en-us/articles/35992960306843-Accordance-Community-Direct-Messaging
