Syntax Tagging Discrepancy?
Searching for other instances of the structure in Num. 14:10, ויאמרו כל־העם לרגם אתם, I ran the construct search below, with the results below (only first page is shown). The search picked up some extraneous verses (e.g., Deut. 25:7) but a large number of relevant ones. It failed to pick up, however, 1 Kgs 5:19 (and, perhaps, others), which to my eye also exemplifies the structure I was looking for. Is the difference attributable to inconsistent tagging, or am I overlooking something else?

This is a fascinating question. I don't have the SYNTAX module for HMT so i can't help you. What amazes me is that nobody has replied to you query. Certainly the author of the SYNTAX module must not have joined this forum. This is a test to see if my response will get past moderation.
