Reason to Consider in Accordance: The Göttingen LXX editions are THE authoritative critical text editions for the corpus comprising the Septuagint. They are necessary resources for anyone doing serious work in LXX studies and textual criticism of the OT, as well as study of the use of the OT in the NT and Christian reception of the OT. Accordance is missing not only the latest volumes (Ecclesiastes, Psalms of Solomon) but also key older volumes (Daniel-Susana-Bel and the Dragon, Wisdom of Solomon, 3 Maccabees, Judith, Tobit). According to posts by an Accordance developer on the previous forums, several of these were in development as of updates in July 2016, March 2018, and July 2021. However, there have been no updates to the series since 2018.
