Thanks! By the way, if you want to swap out the forum link for one hosted on Archive.org, that will ensure the link is preserved when we sunset the forums.

And how do I find the archive.org link?

If you go to Archive.org and copy/paste in your current link, it should generate an Archive.org link for you. Brian Mitchell managed to successfully do it, so he may have some pointers.

No luck: I get error messages when I do that.  I'll wait for Brian Mitchell's response.

But if you want us to use Archive.org for to search the old forums/provide links for these kinds of reports, there really needs to be a pinned post with instructions on how to do so.

We are working on figuring it out (maybe with Brian's help), and we'll post a promoted post with instructions.

A while back I got Accordance's other Apostolic Father's modules (the ones by Holmes).  Today I was looking up a 1 Clement reference again, and realized the Holmes modules would make is possible to do some more sleuthing on this problem.  The issue is clearly with AFL-E, as AFL-T scrolls perfectly with AF-T and AF-E in the problem areas in 1 Clement.

I think I have also figured out exactly where things go out of kilter in AFL-E: 1 Clement 8:2-3.  Here's a screenshot, with section I think is at the root of the problem highlighted.  (Note that AFL-E is in the middle pane):

AFL-E takes the last half of 1 Clement 8:2 (in AF-E, AFL-T, and AF-T*) and makes it into verse 3 and the first part of verse 4.  Verse 3 (as found in AF-E, AFL-T, and AF-T) becomes the rest of verse 4 (in AFL-E), and every subsequent verse is one verse off in AFL-E.

If you set up a tab the way I have above and scroll down, you will discover that 1Clement 8 has 6 verses in AFL-E, but only 5 in AF-E, AFL-T, and AF-T.  That fact first caught my attention and led me to inspect chapter 8 more carefully, leading to the discovery of the issues in verse 2-4.

*Note that I did not include a pane for AF-T in the screenshot above so thing were legible, but I did verify that AF-T agrees with AF-E and AFL-T)

Once again, since this problem has been known for more than 2 years, I really hope it can be fixed soon.
