Searching in Qumran texts
AnsweredI was searching through some of the Qumran materials today. Since the texts, both English and Original language, are heavily marked with editorial signs to show where texts have been reconstructed/emended etc. I was wondering whether there is a way to search with Accordance ignoring the textcritical signs.
Example: If I search for Melchizedek, I would like to find “Melchize]dek” or “Melchiz[edek]” and so on as well.
Any enlightenment?

Is there a specific module you are having issues with? When I run a simple word search in DSS Bible-Canonical Order, it seems to give me the results you are looking for, results across the brackets. See screenshot.

I haven't done extensive testing in the English module, but here is an example where it picked up the Word despite the bracket.

Problem has been solved - thanks for the help. I am not sure how, but now it picks up texts with brackets, too, both in English and Hebrew.
