How to view the latest posts on this forum
FeaturedSeveral users have asked how to view the latest posts on this forum without having to look at each individual sub-topic. This can be done via a drop down menu on the main page. To see just the latest posts from all sections, click on the dropdown menu labeled "Community Topics" and select "Show all posts."
This will display the latest posts from across all topic sections. Posts you have already viewed will be orange instead of blue.
Alternatively, from the main page, scroll to the bottom to see a limited selection of recent posts.

Lawrence We can look into it with our forum technology and see if it's possible. I'm not 100% certain, but we can at least ask them.

Steven S Oh, I see. Thanks.
The dropdown only comes up when “Show all posts” is selected.

Note that Sort by newest post only applies to the timestamp of the original post itself, not the (possibly more recent) timestamps of any subordinate comments. Thus, a newer post with no comment activity will always appear before an older post with more recent comment activity. To have the sort consider the timestamps of the comments, as well, use Sort by recent activity.

Could we have the “Recent activity” section at the top for the Community page, and the structured boxes at the top for the Support page?
Support and community have different needs. Support requires getting to a specific spot quickly, which structured boxes help with. But community is based on conversations, which benefits from a quick glance at recent activity.

You can also “Follow” forum sections or particular posts if you want email updates of new posts/comments. Here's what the follow buttons look like on forum sections:
