Highlighting Schemes
This is one area where Accordance needs to catch up with the competition.
- There is no easy on / off toggling of highlights. I had to create my own No Highlights scheme.
- I really could use a more robust way of organizing highlights. I.e., I would like to have a collection of highlights with ways to turn on / off members of the collection. (E.g., a highlight collection of Verbs, with subgroups for each of the moods which can be toggled on / off individually.) For now, I need to create separate schemes for every grouping and subgrouping.
- Similar to #2, it would be helpful to apply more than one highlighting scheme at a time. E.g., I view NA28 and an English version in parallel, and I would like to enable a scheme for each of them.
- For now, a highlight scheme only applies to a single text. I.e., if I create a scheme for the NA28, it does not cross over to any other of my Greek texts. The case is the same for English versions. It would be great if a scheme I create can be automatically enabled for a another version. E.g., I have a scheme that disambiguates the various Herods, but I set it up in the NRSV, and it's not visible in any of my other English versions. I realize this is a more difficult task, but Logos has managed to work it out.
