A significant update to the NA28 Apparatus is now available through Check for Updates. Improvements include:
- Fixed a syncing issue involving apparatus covering multiple verses followed by cross-references for individual verses.
- Streamlined the formatting to make the combined apparatus and marginal material more compact and clearer:
- Removed lines between the cross-references in the outer margins of the print edition and the "kephalaia"/Eusebian canons in the inner margins.
- Right-justified the "inner margin" material to distinguish it from the cross-references.
- Added the italicized numbers in the inner margin which refer to the kephalaia, or ancient manuscript sections.
- Added a Kephalaia field to enable searching for those numbers.
(TIP: Search this field for ?* in a tool pane tied with a Bible pane, and you can scroll to each ancient section by clicking the up and down Hit arrows in the tool pane.) - References to the Eusebian canons (an ancient list of parallel passages) are much improved
- The Section number (arabic numeral) is now hyperlinked to the explanation of the Eusebian canons in the introduction
- The Canon table number (Roman numeral) is hyperlinked to the correct line of the canon table
- The section numbers in the canon tables are linked to the corresponding Scripture passages
(TIP: command-click on any of the section numbers in the Canon table to see all the parallel passages in a separate text pane)
- Various minor corrections
